THE CARDKIND FIELD GUIDE
Privacy at Cardkind
Last updated October 1, 2026
Your uploaded portrait stays in your browser while you make a card.
Photos and card editing
The studio reads the image you select on your device and processes it locally. Cardkind does not send that portrait to a server or AI provider, run facial recognition, or publish a gallery. Downloaded files are saved through your browser. Anyone you choose to share those files with receives the information visible on the card.
Your local collection
Choosing Save to collection stores card details, a resized portrait and a card preview in this site’s local browser storage. This is optional and limited to 12 cards. It does not sync between devices. You can remove individual cards in the collection or erase all saved cards by clearing this site’s browser data. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to see them.
Website delivery
The hosting infrastructure receives standard request information, such as IP address, browser details and requested pages, to deliver and secure the website. Cardkind has no separate visitor analytics or advertising scripts enabled at launch. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts; Google receives the network request necessary to deliver those font files.
Advertising
We intend to apply for Google AdSense. A publisher verification tag and ads.txt identify the intended advertising account, but do not themselves load ads. Ad serving is currently disabled. Before introducing ads or additional tracking, this notice and the applicable consent controls will be updated. Do not interpret this page as consent to future advertising.
Responsible sharing
Use photos you have permission to use. Avoid placing addresses, phone numbers or other private details on cards you share. The studio is a general creative tool and does not require an account or collect age information.
Privacy requests
You control locally saved images and cards through your browser. Removing a card here does not remove copies you downloaded or sent elsewhere. For privacy questions, email hello@cardkindstudio.com. Email sent to this address is forwarded through Spaceship to our support inbox. We use the information you provide to respond to your request; please do not send sensitive images or unnecessary personal details.
